IAM.visa
A platform that combines identity, risk, authentication, and attribution to create an on-demand service for consumers and corporations.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION | This small project was completed for the 2017 Money 20/20 Hackathon in Las Vegas. Our team was tasked with using early-access/beta Visa APIs along with other third party APIs, to build a solution that provides seamless identity verification experiences between consumers and issuers. The design that we presented demonstrated a consumer-facing identity management and account aggregation service. Our product concept aimed to propose a streamlined account opening process, centralized account preferences, and the ability to monitor account data access, putting control into the consumers' hands with their personal information.
ROLE | I was the designer and front-end developer on a three-person PNC team that was also sponsored by Visa for the Money 20/20 hackathon event.
PRODUCT SETUP | Account Setup
"Control, protect, and secure your personal data, all in one place. An IAM.Visa Account gives you quick access to settings and tools that let you safeguard your data, protect your privacy, and decide how your information is consumed by other services."
The user sign-up sequence matches a new user to their Visa file (using a early-access Visa API) and verifies their identity by using government-issued ID and facial recognition.

PROFILE CREATION | Profile Creation
The user can complete their profile by linking personal accounts including financial service, social, health and other types of accounts. The user can also manage their global preferences for future account additions. The profile setup in this service allows for the propagation of changes to any personal information or security preferences within IAM.visa profile to linked third-party accounts.

PRODUCT USE | Credit Card Application
The following user flow shows how a user establishes a new IAM link when they are applying for a new credit card via their financial institution's website. IAM.Visa generates a tokenized IAM ID for the user to establish the link with the new service. Once permission is granted, the user is notified and is able to see the link details.

PRODUCT USE | Activity Scan + Linked Services
This flow illustrates the ability of a user to perform a scan of all active linked accounts. The user can drill down to the IAM Link detail to review what account data has been accessed and when. The user then can decide to revoke or grant privileges to the linked account at any time.
